(1) If there is a need to explore whether there are minerals within the national forest, the provincial ministry may grant permission for the same upon the request of the relevant body.
(2) According to sub-section (1), if it is found that there are minerals such as gold, silver, copper, iron, etc., within the national forest, if mining is required, the government of Nepal shall use the forest area for the purpose of mining such minerals. can give approval. However, foreign investment approved by the National Priority Development Plan Investment Board cannot be used for the raw materials used in projects of national pride, and other mineral forest products may not be extracted from the forest area except for the mentioned minerals.
